The Los Angeles Lakers travel to face the upstart Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers look to be turning things around. They have won three of their last four games, including a revenge victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in their last game. Tonight, the Lakers will look to get their second victory in a row against the Sacramento Kings.

Los Angeles will be traveling to face their Pacific Division rivals. So far this season, this doesn’t look like a Kings team of old. Dave Joerger has them playing well to begin the season, as they are off to a strong 7-5 start.

The Kings have five players scoring in double-figures, led by Buddy Hield with 19.7 points per game. Iman Shumpert isn’t too far behind with 9.6 points per game.

Second-year point guard De’Aaron Fox is also having a great start to the season. He is averaging 18.5 points, 7.5 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game.

He will forever be compared to the Lakers point guard, Lonzo Ball. The two faced off a few times in college, and now face each other four times per season as division rivals. Unfortunately, Ball may miss this game as he is dealing with an ankle tweak.

However, things are looking positive, as Ball took part in shootaround this morning.

If Ball is unable to go, Rajon Rondo would be re-inserted into the starting lineup. It would also open up some minutes for Lance Stephenson, who has played sparingly since the team got back to full strength following the suspensions.

No matter who is in the lineup tonight, there will be plenty of points to be had. Both the Lakers and Kings have struggled on the defensive end of the court this season. Sacramento comes into the game surrendering 118.1 points per game, while the Lakers are giving up 119.1.

Both offenses have been good, however, as the Kings average 117.8 points per game and the Lakers are putting up 118.5.

Which team will be able to get the timely stops tonight? We will have to watch and find out!

Betting Odds

Despite having a worse record than the Kings, and being on the road, the Lakers are the favorites in this game. That is not surprising, as the Lakers are one of the most popular teams to bet on, especially with LeBron James in town.

The fortunes of these two games could be flipping, however. While the Lakers have won three of four, the Kings have dropped two of three. That could also be playing into the line tonight.

Moneyline: Lakers -235 up to -270, Kings +200 up to +215
